Return Policy
The customer must be at least 18 years of age, and the background check must be complete prior to the TASER being activated
C2 Activation
All customers must be at least 18 years of age to buy any civilian taser, and the C2 Taser comes inactive. The customer must complete a secure identification and background check themselves to obtain their activation code. The process of the background check registers the C2 Taser to the customer. There is a one time fee of $9.95. The TASER can be activated by calling 1-888-827-3788, or by going online per the instructions listed in the user manual.
*The C2 can not be activated if a person has a felony conviction in their background. If a customer has any doubt that they will not pass a background check, you may want to recommend they don¿t buy the product.
TCG Taser Return Policy
At TCG, our number one priority is customer service and customer satisfaction. Due to the nature of the products, returns will not be accepted unless the product is found to be defective or unless otherwise stated in the specific warranty from Taser Internatonal. All sales are final.
There is no right of return for items purchased except as provided by state and federal laws. When allowed by applicable law, returned items must be received within 30 days and will be credited for the purchase price less the cost of any items not returned. You must call TASER at 800 418 9283 in order to receive a Return Material Authorization (¿RMA¿) number prior to returning any item. Any returned items must be packed in original TASER packaging. Used or expended cartridges and shipping charges are non-refundable
Importance of the AFID Program
Taser International and TCG are committed to doing the most we can to prevent potential misuse of our products. Accordingly, Taser International has developed an advanced TASER device tracking program called AFID (Anti-Felon Identification). The AFID program enforces accountability for each use of the TASER device and has worked successfully for over a decade with citizen sales.
*Each TASER Cartridge sold for use with the TASER device has a unique serial number. This serial number is printed in a bar code format on the back of each TASER Cartridge. At the time the probes are packed into each TASER Cartridge, approximately 20-30 pieces of film printed with the serial number of that TASER Cartridge are loaded behind them. When the TASER C2 is deployed, these AFID tags are dispersed at the scene. The large number of AFIDS and their small size makes it impractical to clean up. When police are called to investigate any TASER device use, they can find these tags and contact TASER International for a complete trace on the serial number.
**A Police report listing the AFID will enable the customer to replace the TASER at no cost from TASER International**
No Sales Outside the US
It is illegal to sell TASER products outside the United States! The United States Department of Commerce reports that selling TASERS outside the Untied States will result in a penalty of one million dollars or up to ten years in prison.
