Return Policy
Warranty Policy
Components that have been tested and that are in working order prior to purchase have a warranty of seven (7) business days from the date of purchase.
Products that are advertised as untested are sold �as is� and are not covered by warranty unless otherwise authorized by Bargain Bytes management.
Components found to be defective and returned within seven business days of the date of purchase will be repaired or replaced by Bargain Bytes at no cost, with the exception of return shipping (see return policy section).
Bargain Bytes reserves the right to make substitutions for defective components if the exact replacement component is not available.
CPUs or special orders that are defective will be replaced free of charge, with the exception of return shipping (see return policy section).
Bargain Bytes is not liable for, nor will warranty, any items that have been damaged during shipment. If item has been damaged in transit, buyer must contact the 3rd party shipping company to file a claim.
Return Policy
Customer has seven (7) business days from date of purchase to return an item for refund or exchange.
Customer MUST contact Bargain Bytes by phone (605-336-1744) or email (sales@bargainbytes.net) prior to returning item for a Return Merchandise Authorization or RMA number. Items not having a RMA number when being retuned will not be accepted by Bargain Bytes. RMA numbers cannot be reissued or extended. RMA numbers must be clearly marked on the outside of that package containing the returned item.
Customer must provide Bargain Bytes with a written explanation as to why the item is being returned, in addition to the original invoice.
Items are returned at buyer�s expense. We will make every effort to resolve any issue via phone (605-336-1744) or email (sales@bargainbytes.net) prior to this.
Unless Bargain Bytes has made a shipping error, return shipping arranged by buyer is at Customer�s expense.
Items must be packaged in original shipping materials or in similar packaging.
Our technicians will examine item and diagnose problem (if any) promptly upon receipt of return.
If item is found to be faulty a replacement will be shipped. If a suitable replacement is not available, Bargain Bytes reserves the right to replace with a substitute component. If a substitute is not available, a full refund (including original shipping charge) will be issued.
If item is found to be in working condition as originally advertised, buyer shall be reimbursed purchase price minus a restocking fee of 10% of the original invoice or $5.00, whichever is greater. Shipping fees will not be reimbursed.
If Purchaser or Purchaser�s agent refuses to accept ordered goods, the Purchaser will pay all shipping and handling fees plus a restocking fee of 10% of the original invoice or $5.00, whichever is greater.
Buyers� lack of knowledge of software, drivers, or hardware is not considered a warranty issue.
Any refund that was originally paid using PayPal or Credit Card will be subject to an additional 3% transaction fee.
