My name is LouAnn Valletta! My husband Scott Fitzgerald and I are the proprietors of Snake Hill Trading Post!
Snake Hill Trading Post was started as a result of a love of the Old West, and 25 years of retail sales and management experience.
Snake Hill Trading Post is a labor of love, hard work, and commitment to customer service. We are a western & motorcycle retail shop servicing New England.
Scott & I began our company in 2002. We named our company Snake Hill Trading Post, after a road in town. The name is associated with a former business I worked for, which was a western and motorcycle retail store located on Snake Hill Road. After my former boss retired, we wanted to establish a type of store like it to serve the already large customer base.
Our first location was a 1200 Square foot storefront, which we out grew rapidly! We eventually moved to a larger store front at the same address, which is where we currently have our store.
We have our family dog, "Little Joe", at the store with us everyday! He happily greets customers with a wag of the tail and friendly bark. "Little Joe" took over for our original dog, "Bandit", who passed away in 2004. We also have, "A.J", and "Bailey Beagle Boo", who visit frequently. We don't mind if you bring along your favorite critter, as long as they behave and do not bite!
We like to treat our customers like family, because that is the way we would like to be treated when we are visiting a family owned business.
