Central Training Academy was founded in 1976 and is one of the first certified Private Security Services training schools in the Commonwealth of Virginia.

The cornerstone of our training philosophy is the ethical foundation of this trust profession. Arising from that basis, our goal is competent performance in service to the public, mutual cooperation with law enforcement, significant contribution to our communities, and enhancement of the investigative and security professions.
The distinguishing features of our programs include the high caliber of those delivering instruction practitioner to practitioner, innovative approaches, maximum student interaction, practical operational application, and our ability to specifically tailor our training programs to individual and corporate needs.
We believe in providing our students with training and employment aids to support the learning process and to assist in the transition from classroom to competent performance in the workplace. Extensive manuals, provided to the students become their source for future reference.
Central Training Academy is certified by the Virginia Department of Criminal Justice Services, the Security Officers Management Branch of the District of Columbia Metropolitan Police Department and the Maryland State Police. Our courses, as they relate to each agency, have been approved and follow the guidlines as outlined by the above mentioned agencies and by the Monadnock Training Council, Armor Holdings, and the National Rifle Association for investigative, security, and firearms training.

For training courses and equipment all sales are final, except per prior agreement.
Class and Equipment Payment:
Courses are to be paid for in advance of or on the first day of class unless prior arrangements have been agreed upon.
Equipment is to be paid upon delivery unless prior arrangements have been made.
