This area has been known for its durable stoneware for centuries, the high quality of craftsmanship has been Internationally recongnized year after year for the high quality of its hand painting and sponge application of its Unikat(one of a kind) pieces. Polish Pottery is safe for use in the microwave, freezer, or dishwasher. The ovenware or baking dishes can be put in the oven heated up to 375 degrees as long as they are NOT put in a pre-heated oven. It is also lead and cadmium free. For oven use, we recommend placement in a cold oven, it is especially important NOT to place the pottery over a open flame and DO NOT put the bakeware in the oven if frozen, due to extreme temperature change.
