Return Policy Shipping Policy:
SMARTER BIKE offers Standard Ground Service, Second Day and Next Day shipping options. For Standard Ground Service, most packages arrive within 5 to 9 business days of their shipping date. Every effort is made to ship your order the same day it is placed. Although most Standard Ground shipments arrive within 5-7 business days from when the order is placed, please be advised that it may take as many as nine business days for your shipment to arrive. For expedited shipping, Second Day (Two Business Days) and Next Day (One Business Day), orders are shipped within 24 hours of being received, excluding Sundays and holidays. In the unlikely event that your merchandise is out of stock, and needs to be back ordered, you will be notified of the approximate availability date and given the option for a full refund on your order.
Please note that you must include a valid continental U.S. street address when placing an order, as SMARTER BIKE will not deliver to PO Boxes and we do not ship overseas, Canada, Mexico, Hawaii or Alaska.
Order Cancellations/Refunds:
If you have placed an order and wish to cancel, you must phone in your cancellation the same day of your order by calling 800-901-9543 stating your name, your order confirmation number and the merchandise ordered. All cancellations are subject to a 5% processing fee. Refunds will be issued within 7 business days, excluding holidays.
Orders that are undeliverable, (i.e., invalid shipping addresses) will be cancelled and are subject to a 5% processing fee. Refunds will be issued within 7 business days, excluding holidays.
Returns Policy:
Non-defective merchandise will be credited at original invoice price less freight and handling charges and restocking fees. All returns, with the exception of defective merchandise, are subject to a 20% restocking fee.
How long do I have to make a return?
The merchandise you are returning, must be received at our office within 14 days of delivery. The order date is included on the invoice that is emailed to you after a purchase.
How do I do a return?
It's three easy steps.
Request a return authorization number (RAN).
Pack the product for return shipping.
Ship the product to SMARTER BIKE.
Make sure to pack the product so that it will not get damaged in return shipping. The product must be placed in another box for shipping.

Insure the package for the value of the contents and ship. You are responsible for all shipping cost, including insurance. Forward to us a tracking number for your return shipment.
What is a Return Authorization Number (RAN) and how do I get one?
A return authorization number (RAN) is a multi-digit number we use to track your returning shipment. To request a RAN, send an email to RANRequest@smarterbike.net indicating your name, the merchandise SKU number(s) and briefly summarize your reason for returning. A RAN will be issued by email within 24 hours, excluding weekends and holidays.
Can I return a defective product?
All the products we sell are covered by a manufacturer's warranty. If the product is found to be defective within the first 15 days after you receive it, SMARTER BIKE will accept a return, without a 10% return charge as long as you will accept an exchange for the same type of product. If you wish to be issued a credit or refund, a 10% return fee will be charged. After the initial 15 day period, contact the manufacturer directly for service.
How long does it take to get my refund?
Typically, your refund is credited back to your credit card or PayPal account within ten business days after we receive and inspect your return. |
